MOUTHWASH REMOVES PLAQUE FROM TEETH IN 1 MINUTE

After regular brushing of the teeth, many dentists advise to use mouthwash and thus to remove bacteria that remained and to reduce the presence of plaque.

In fact, mouthwash is important part of maintaining the oral hygiene as it eliminates all bacteria and germs that were not removed with the brushing. This final touch will make your breath fresh and pleasant.

It was proved that by cleaning your mouth with a mouthwash you actually remove tartar and that is extremely important for good oral hygiene. But, instead of using mouthwashes that contain chemicals, our advice is to prepare your own liquid at your home, using natural ingredients.

Advantages of using homemade mouthwash:


  • When you make some product at home, you control the ingredients and their quality. In other words, by preparing your own mouthwash for removing tartar, you control what you put in your mouth.
  • It is cheaper option: prepare your own rinse using natural ingredients.
  • Without hidden chemicals: most of the commercial products are mixture of additives including preservatives, colorants, artificial sweeteners, flavorings and a multitude of chemicals harmful to the health.

How to do a Homemade Mouthwash?

The main ingredient of this mouthwash is baking soda. Sodium bicarbonate is one of the most efficient cleansers. This chemical compound has wide range of uses, including oral hygiene. Many people use it directly in the brushing of teeth as it has bleaching and stain removal abilities. In same time it is bactericide and will eliminate tartar and microbes that cause cavities and bad breath.

Ingredients:


  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • ½ cup hydrogen peroxide
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup warm water
  • 1 cup cold water


Materials:


  • Toothbrush
  • Pot the cup
  • Toothpick (toothpicks).


Preparation:

In a bowl mix the baking soda and the salt. After that, wet the toothbrush in warm water and take a bit of the mixture above. Rub your teeth for about 2 minutes and expel from the mouth.

Next step is to mix the hydrogen peroxide with the warm water and rinse your mouth for one minute, then expel it from the mouth.

Using a toothpick, remove the tartar between your teeth and rinse with cold water.

Repeat this procedure 2 week.

Warning: you should never swallow mouthwash in order to remove tartar (neither natural nor commercial). Keep in mind that some ingredients can be harmful if are swallowed.

It is important to maintain oral hygiene by brushing your mouth at least 3 times a day, using a quality paste.
